Her er mitt DT bidrag til den 13(!) utfordringa hos Stamptacular Sunday Challenge blog! Denne gangen er temaet "Party Animal" og jeg har jeg har brukt dette artige stempelet fra Penny Black. Som dere ser så har jeg denne gangen laget et kort og alterert en blomsterboks fra Prima, begge med matchende papir og bånd:)

Here is my DT submission for the 13th(!) challenge at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge blog. This weeks theme is called "Party Animal" and I've used this fun stamp from Penny Black. As you can see I've made a card and altered an old flowerbox from Prima, both in matching papers and ribbon:)

Boksen har et håndtak som gjør at den lett kan åpnes..

DT Stamptacular Sunday Challenge "Red, White, Blue and a STAR too!"

Her er mitt DT bidrag til denne ukes utfordring hos Stamptacular Sunday Challenge blog hvor vi ønker å se prosjekter med fargene rød, hvit og blå OG en stjerne (eller fler). Jeg har valgt å lage et guttekort, siden jeg allerede var inne i mood'en etter de foregående utfordringene. Er ikke akkurat dreven på guttekort så fant ut at jeg skulle smi mens jernet er varmt. Kommer tidsnok tilbake til jentete dill og dall igjen;) Har brukt Edwin med caps og fargelagt han med distress ink. Den røde lukkemekanismen er faktisk en skinntag fra Prima. Jeg hadde selvfølgelig bare denne ene, så de andre er laget av rødt Bazzill papir som jeg har klipt ut og sydd rundt. Har også sydd en del både på utsiden og innsiden, men det synes nok litt dårlig på bildet.. Det går an å klikke på det for å få en forstørrelse.

Here is my DT submission for this weeks challenge at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge blog called "Red, White. Blue and a STAR too!". A colorchallenge with a twist;) I've made a boy card this week too. I'm still on a learning curve when it comes to this, but I thought I should take advantage of the flow I'm in from the previous challenges. I'll get back to the girlie pink stuff soon enough;) I've used Edwin with cap and I've painted him with my distress reinkers. The closing mechanism is made from a Prima leather tag. Of course there is only one of each in the package so I had to make the others with red Bazzill paper and sew around it. I've also sewn quite a bit on both the inside and outsid, but I guess it doesn't show so good in the pictures. You can click the image for a larger view.

Ps! I'm so sorry if my blog is unreadable at times, I have som problems with my background who keeps turning brown. It's suppose to be light with a shabby background so sometimes it helps to click the refresh button. Thanks!

Ps! Jeg har litt problemer med en tilbakevendende brun blogbakgrunn, så beklager så mye hvis den er uleselig til tider. Den skal egentlig være lys med en shabby bakgrunn så noen ganger hjelper det å trykke oppdater knappen oppe i menyen. Takk!

DT Stamptacular Sunday Challenge "Fathers Day"

Her er mitt DT bidrag for denne ukes utfordring på Stamptacular Sunday Challenge kalt "Fathers Day". Nå er det riktignok ikke Farsdag i hjemlandet akkurat nå, og ikke er det noen fedre i familien å gi det til heller, så jeg har valgt å lage et mannlig kort uten mottaker foreløpig. Har brukt en kjekk kar fra hÄnglar & stÄnglar og fikk ideen til bukseselen derfra. Har brukt et båndrest jeg hadde liggende og et par knapper fra knappeskuffen min:) Syns det blei litt tøft om jeg kan si det sjøl:) :) Innsiden har jeg latt være åpen så lenge til jeg vet hvem som skal få det og kan gjøre det litt mer personlig.

Here is my DT submission for this weeks challenge at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge called "Fathers Day". It's not Fathers Day at this time of year in my homecountry, and with no fathers in the family either I've made a male card with no recepient at the moment. I've used this handsome bloke from hÄnglar & stÄnglar and this is where I got the idea for the suspender strap. I've used some left over ribbon and some buttons from my drawer, and it turned out pretty cool if I may say so myself :) :) I'v left the inside open for now until I know who'll get it and I can make it more personal.

Here is my DT submission for Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #9 with a weddingtheme this time. I decided to try out the vintage style this time, not sure I succeded though.. but it sure was fun! I've got so much inspiration from Jannhilds fabulous envelopecards lately so I just had to give in and give it a try myself:) Please visit her blog and take a look for yourself, you'll be blown away! Hi everyone!

I'm so glad you've been playing along with us for our first ever Blog Hop!

During the summer my husband and I always seem to have a lot of projects that needs to be done, but of course we enjoy the time off from work too! We try to be with our families as much as we can and just relax, barbeque, take the boat out and just feel the breeze swipe our faces. Good times! I'm a wimp when it comes to bathing so it has to be really hot water for me to jump in it, but it happens! LOL! I'm also a fond gardener and spend much time in our garden taking care of my beloved plants and bushes:) Summer is my favourite time of year and it just makes me smile and feel happy:)
