A merry and bright wintery card in blue, white and silver with lots of glitter!

Never ending stoory lalalalalalalalalala!

HEHE!
***

Sorry if I gave you a naging song on the brain just now but I just couldn't help myself! LOL! You see, I've made a Never Ending Card and this song just popped in my head right away:) I promise it'll pass any time soon.. Now over to the card I wanna show you. It's been both fun and time consuming to make, a LOT of paper to cut and glue, and then all the details that had to come together, BUT I finished it earlier today and now I have the time to publish it. I found a great tutorial as a link from Lilly of the Valley and you can check it out HERE if you like :) It's not as easy to show the card in a proper way through pictures, but I hope you get the general idea.

***
Framsiden: Tekststempelet er fra KH Design og sier "Gledelig Jul"
***
The front: The sentiment is from KH Design and says "Merry Christmas"

Then you open the card by opening up the left and right side of the card:

Innsiden etter den første bretten. Er ikke helt fornøyd siden man strengt tatt kanskje ikke skulle sett noe av hverken den stemplede teksten eller Tilda.. Teksten sier: Himmelske gleder daler ned som vakre snøkrystaller og gir lys i vintermørket"
***
The inside after the first fold. I'm not totally pleased with it since you probably shouldn't be able to see either Tilda or the stamped sentiment on the nest fold.. The sentiment says; " Heavenly joys comes down like beautiful snowcrystals and gives light in the winter dark"

***
The next two pictures show the next fold where you lift the sentiment and the snowman to reveal what's behind.

***
Here lies Tilda thinking and the sentiment besides her says " Time for contemplation". I've decorated with some lace and silvery pearls.

***
Here comes the next fold and as you can see it comes between Tilda and the sentiment when you fold the sides backwards.

***
You've now reached the second last fold on the card and here I have decorated with some Christmas gifts from Magnolia and a sentiment from Anka Design that says:" Snipp, snapp, snute then the wait is over!" (I don't know how to translate the three first words, it's a norwegian term we use at the end of a fairytale).

***
Here comes the final fold, and as you can see on the picture below you're now at the beginning of the card again!!! Like the name "Never Ending Card" says, you can fold it and fold it for as long as you can be bothered without it stopping:) Just like the title says! ;)

This card covers 4 different challenges:
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge "Four seasons"
Charisma Cardz: "Merry & Bright"
Cute Card Thursday: "Glitter me Silly!"
Colour Create: "Blue, Silver and White"

CS: Bazzill blue & white
DP: Magnolia
Stamps: Magnolia, KH Design, Anka Design
Accessories: Lace, silvery pearls, Martha Stewart snowflake punch, glimmermist, stickles, Tim Holtz grungeboard.

A distressed, snowy and blingy easel card!

Good Tuesday to you all!

Here comes a new Christmas card from me, been in a Christmasy mood lately and with the brand new stamps and papers from Magnolia I'm just in heaven! The stamps are sooo adorable and those papers are so yummy! My sewingmachine has gone warm on this card lol, I just love that look with the distressing. I've actually managed to cover 5 challenges(!!!) with this card, that's pretty good I think! :) I've made an EASEL CARD which is this weeks challenge over at Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge.
At
Cupcake Craft Challenge they want to see SNOW in some form on your card and at Allsorts Challenge they want you to bring out the BLING. Last but not least, at Just Magnolia and Everybody-Art-Challenge they want to see DISTRESSING on your project and here is what I came up with:
Here the card lies folded together. I've made a solution to keep it together (got pictures further down) so it easily can be mailed to the recipient.

Here's some pictures of the standing EASEL CARD from different angles

The sentiment I've used is from Ladybugandfriends and the sentiment says "A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year". As you can see I've used one of the snowflakes to support the card when it stands.

I chose to decorate the back of the card too, but I made it very simple using a paper doily. I've put on a pair of snaps to close the card so it can lie flat.

A little closeup on the closing mechanism

This is the bottom of the card, or the back when it's closed together. Decorated with some snowflakes, brown strawthingy (never remember the name..) and my personal stamp
Painted with Distress Ink Refills
CS: Bazzill
DP: Magnolia
Stamps: Magnolia So Jolly Collection, Ladybugandfriends
Accessories: Sewing machine, sandingblock and edgescraper from Making Memories, Cats eye Chalk, Maya Road Chipboard snowflake, pearls from Kort og Godt, brown stringything from Panduro, Martha Stewart snowflakepunch and glitter, vintage buttons from Ebay, paper doily, stickles from Ranger, string and snaps from my stash.

Thank you so much for all of your wonderful comments, you guys are the best!
