A merry and bright wintery card in blue, white and silver with lots of glitter!

Never ending stoory lalalalalalalalalala!

HEHE!
***

Sorry if I gave you a naging song on the brain just now but I just couldn't help myself! LOL! You see, I've made a Never Ending Card and this song just popped in my head right away:) I promise it'll pass any time soon.. Now over to the card I wanna show you. It's been both fun and time consuming to make, a LOT of paper to cut and glue, and then all the details that had to come together, BUT I finished it earlier today and now I have the time to publish it. I found a great tutorial as a link from Lilly of the Valley and you can check it out HERE if you like :) It's not as easy to show the card in a proper way through pictures, but I hope you get the general idea.

***
Framsiden: Tekststempelet er fra KH Design og sier "Gledelig Jul"
***
The front: The sentiment is from KH Design and says "Merry Christmas"

Then you open the card by opening up the left and right side of the card:

***
The inside after the first fold. I'm not totally pleased with it since you probably shouldn't be able to see either Tilda or the stamped sentiment on the nest fold.. The sentiment says; " Heavenly joys comes down like beautiful snowcrystals and gives light in the winter dark"

***
The next two pictures show the next fold where you lift the sentiment and the snowman to reveal what's behind.

***
Here lies Tilda thinking and the sentiment besides her says " Time for contemplation". I've decorated with some lace and silvery pearls.

***
Here comes the next fold and as you can see it comes between Tilda and the sentiment when you fold the sides backwards.

***
You've now reached the second last fold on the card and here I have decorated with some Christmas gifts from Magnolia and a sentiment from Anka Design that says:" Snipp, snapp, snute then the wait is over!" (I don't know how to translate the three first words, it's a norwegian term we use at the end of a fairytale).

***
Here comes the final fold, and as you can see on the picture below you're now at the beginning of the card again!!! Like the name "Never Ending Card" says, you can fold it and fold it for as long as you can be bothered without it stopping:) Just like the title says! ;)

This card covers 4 different challenges:
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge "Four seasons"
Charisma Cardz: "Merry & Bright"
Cute Card Thursday: "Glitter me Silly!"
Colour Create: "Blue, Silver and White"

CS: Bazzill blue & white
DP: Magnolia
Stamps: Magnolia, KH Design, Anka Design
Accessories: Lace, silvery pearls, Martha Stewart snowflake punch, glimmermist, stickles, Tim Holtz grungeboard.

Thanks for visiting my blog and for all the lovely comments!

Papertake Weekly does Roses On Paper...

God Jul / Merry Christmas
I got these new Magnolia stamps from the new Jolly Collection in the mail today so I just had to play!! Aren't they just adorable?! I rarely find time to join challenges anymore, but today I just decided to take the time and make a card. I've used the sketch provided over at Papertake Weekly Challenge and at Roses on Paper and Belles'n Whistles Combined Challenge blog the theme is Christmas so it fits too:)
Click the images for a larger view

Et nærbilde....
A closeup..

I've used a cinnamon stick that I've pimped a little. It really smells Christmas to me:)

Innsiden

The inside
On the inside I used one more of the adorable Christmas stamps and on the left I've made a pocket with a little tag in.

The tag has a sentiment from Norsk Stempelblad and it says; A warm Christmas greeting to you from us

The card also has a big tag on the side that you can pull out and write a personal greeting on.

She's so versatile and you can use her in whatever occasion your card/project might be. She's a dream to color! Last but not least, I love her because she reprecents a cause. Now if you're ready for your next stop on the way, please hop on to Simonne!

Here's my DT submission for this weeks challenge, and I've used a foldingtechnique created by Turid Mari. I've wanted to try it out for ages, but never got to it until now. It's so much fun and I'm definately gonna use it again. This technique was used in a challenge at StampARTic earlier this year and you can find the tutorial HERE. Get ready for A LOT of pictures! LOL!

Her er mitt DT bidrag for denne ukens utfordring kalt "Pull Out!".

Here I have opened the first part (the part you see to the left is the back of the front with Tilda). I've made a little pocket where I've put a little tag you can pull out.

The text on the little tag says "Christmas hug"

Here is a little closeup on Tilda on the inside of the card. I've used a stamp from Anka Design which I think is perfect with this waiting Tilda. The sentiment is a bit difficult to translate, it's based on a frase we use in Norway when we finish a story or fairytale. But the main point is that the waiting for Christmas finally is over.

Here you can see what's behind the waiting Tilda, it's fun cause it's like the card contains it's own little secret:) There's a panel where you can write your personal greeting and then theres the pocket containing two tags.

The text on the pocket is from the brand new collection at Norsk Stempelblad and the sentiment says; "Merry Christmas (in big letters) Joy, Caring, Warmth, Light, Time, Laughter, Memories, Celebration"

The tags has been pimped with some left over tulle from our wedding. Just love the texture!

Both tags also has sentiments from the new collection from Norsk Stempelblad. The sentiment on this one says; "A lot of Christmas hugs og good wishes for the new year"

This one says; " Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year"

The back with my personal stamp
Baksiden med mitt personlige stempel

A little closeup to show the adorable snowflake charm that I've used on both the back and front. I've tied some string around the tulle that ties the card together and used a jumpring to attatch the charm.

CS: Bazzill
DP: Maja Design; Kyla & Snøyra
Stamps: Magnolia; Snowflakes, Tilda with wood basket& Dreamy Tilda , Anka Design,
Norsk Stempelblad
Accessories: Tulle and string from my stash, snowflake charm from Unik Hobby, Pearls from Kaisercraft, snowflakes from Sizzix, stickes from Ranger.

*Friday Sketchers # 31

Here is my entry to this weeks challenge at Friday Sketchers. The challenge this time was a fabulous sketch by the oh so talented Claudia Rosa. I love the fact that I now can concentrate fully on making my Christmas cards and just play like I want in my craftroom. I really did enjoy making our weddinginvitations, but after making 32 it's good to use some new colours and papers;) I wanted to go really red this time and I'm totally in love with these wonderful papers! And who can resist this cute little Hanglargirl??
The sentiment on the front says "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year"

For the inside I used the back of the paper and I just love these wonderful swirls:) Made a little pocket on the left and put some bags with instant hot chocolate. Yum!

The sentiment means "Time for joy"

CS: Bazzill
DP: Vibeke Spigseth "Julefryd"
Stamps: Hänglar & Stänglar, Anka Design
Accessories: Pearls, lace and bradframe from Kort og Godt, Bells, ribbon and silverthread from a local store, nestabilities, Martha Stewart punch.
Painted with my distress reinkers and all edges are distressed with aged mahogny
