Ok, so I keep on cheating..lol, but I just can't keep out of my craftroom any longer;) I do have some Christmas cards to make, so why not take advantage of making them when I have this urge to scrap?? :) I just love these colours and Magnolia makes it such a pleasure to make cards! I simply love my ny Word Window punch, thank you so much Lim!!!

*A new card!*

Ok, so I cheated..but I had to! *lol*
I've been working so hard to finish my weddinginvitations and now I have to wait for something to arrive in my mailbox before I can do the finishing touches. I'm beginning to get really excited about a wintery wedding, and things have fallen into place so it looks like we'll get ready in time too :). I've had this itch to make something else so yesterday I painted some of my new Magnolias and here is the first card I've finished. I'm almost out of practise so I struggled to get into the groove again. It turned out real plain and simple but I just love the pearls that sweet, sweet Lim sent me:)

Thank you so much to all of you who has visited my blog, even when there's been no new posts:) I really appreciate all of your wonderful comments about my Christmas mailbox. Some of you have asked me about a tutorial for this and I'm sorry to say there is none. I didn't think of taking pictures of the process because I was trying not to light my red hair on fire *lol* It is just a matter of finding the right kind of box and cut a lid in the size you want. Then I opened it up and covered the inside with DP before I put i together again and decorated the outside. I'm sure many of you will be able to make this without all of the not so nice language that I used ;)

And a big thank you to all of you who has been so generous and kind to give an award, I am deeply hounourd and touched that you thought of me. I promise to come back and give them to other deserving crafters:)

*En liten oppdatering*/*Just a little update..

Hei alle sammen!

Først må jeg bare si tusen takk til Åshild for at hun plukket ut julepostboksen min blant ukens søteste på Sukkersøtt! Snakk om opptur da! :D

For det andre så må jeg bare beklage at det ikke har kommet noe nytt i bloggen her på en stundt, og det vil nok dessverre ikke komme noe her på en stund heller.. Min kjære og jeg har nå måttet framskynde bryllupet vårt pga en del ting som har skjedd i og rundt famillien i det siste, både gode og dårlige nyheter. Den nye datoen vår er nå satt til 17. januar så nå har jeg mer enn nok å henge fingrene i. Holder på med invitasjonene nå og skal produsere det jeg kan til jeg er i mål med alt som skal lages. Skulle så ønske jeg hadde tid - og energi til å scrappe noe annet, men det ser dårlig ut foreløpig.. Jeg prøver å snike meg til noen bloggrunder innimellom for å følge litt med, men er redd jeg ikke får kommentert så mye som jeg ønsker. Skal poste nytt innlegg så fort jeg har noe å poste;) Savner dere alle sammen masse!!

First of all I just have to say a big thank you to Åshild who picked out my Christmas mailbox as one of this weeks sweetest at Sukkersøtt! Talk about getting high! :D

Second of all I have to say I'm sorry for the lack of new postings in my blog lately, and it probably will be some time before anything new appears too.. My fiancè and I decided last weekend to move our wedding to January 17th instead of in May. There's been a lot of stuff happening in and around our family lately, both good and bad, so we decided it was best to move it. With that said my list over things to do in very short time grew fast, and my hands are fully occupied with the wedding. I have to make the invitations now and when that is done I have the seatingcards etc. etc... I really wish I had the time - and energy to make anything else but I'm afraid it just have to wait. I try to sneak in some bloghopping now and then,but I'm not able to comment as much as I'd like. I promise I'll make a new posting as soon as there's something to post;) I miss you guys so much!!


One last thing, I've been tagged by Gry-Heidi and I'm sorry that I haven't done it yet. I also have received two awards from Malin, thank you so much! I'll try to pass them on as soon as I can;)

*Julepost*

Da har jeg endelig funnet tid til å være med i en ny utfordring på Sukkersøtt, og i denne som er nr 14 i rekken skulle man ha med tekstil i arbeidet sitt. Jeg valgte å lage noe annet enn et kort denne gangen, nemlig en boks til å oppbevare julekort i. Har igrunn hatt bruk for det i noen år så var igrunn greit å få den på plass nå...hehe. Det synes ikke på bildet, men jeg har limt på mønsterpapir på hele innsiden av boksen og. I tilfelle det er tvil om bruk av tekstil her, så har jeg altså kledd kanten i åpningen og på lokket med blonde. Det var mye mer vrient enn jeg trodde det skulle være å lage denne, så det har nok knitra litt ekstra i det røde håret mitt idag!! ;)

I've finally found the time to enter a new challenge at Sukkersøtt, and this time you were suppose to use fabrics on your work. I decided to make a box for my Christmas cards and the fabrics used are the lace around the opening of the box. I have also put DP on the whole inside of the box as well, it just doesen't show on the pictures. It was a bit more difficult to make this than I had anticipated, so it kind of got a little hot on top of my redhaired head while I struggled...lol.

The word "Julepost" means "Christmaspost"

I'm baack! Starting off with a few pics from my shopping spree:) I've arrived back home safe and sound, despite the sudden change in weather. I wasn't ready for snow just yet!! I wanted it to be fall just a little while longer... Sooo, now I'm gonna try to reconnect with the creative side and get back in my craftroom, hopefully I'll be able to show you something here later today;)

Sorry there's not been much happening on my blog lately, I just haven't had the time to sit down in my crafroom:(
Hopefully this will change during this week. I have the week off from work (Juppi!!), and I'm leaving for Oslo today. I'm going to visit a dear friend of mine and I'll be back on wednesday.
