Challenge 22: "The two of us"

Dette er min aller første deltakelse i en utfordringsblogg så dette er litt skummelt...men jeg hopper i det og håper å ta med meg noen gode erfaringer på veien.

This is the very first time I enter a challenge blog like this, so I find it kind of scary.. but I'm willing to give it a shot. Hopefully it'll give me some positive experience to grow from.

Jeg har falt totalt for stemplene fra Sugar Nellie, så valget falt lett på dette som heter "Peeking Nellie". Jeg har brukt bazzil cardstock, papir fra K&Company som heter "Wedding". Jeg har innvia nestabilities'ene mine og er storfornøyd med det! :) Blomstene er Press'n Petals fra Prima pyntet med rondeller og brads fra Unik Hobby, bak blomstene har jeg putta på litt hamptråd fra Panduro. Har kutta ut fotohjørnene fra QK, pyntebånda er fra Making Memories og tekststempelet fra Norsk Stempelblad. Har putta på en eyelet med to jumprings hvor jeg har putta på en hjertecharms og en konvoluttcharms fra Unik Hobby. Inni har jeg tatt igjen noe av pynten fra fronten, putta inn en tag med stempeltekst fra Norsk Stempelblad, blomstene på høyre side er også derfra. Et veldig enkelt og reint kort, klarte å styre unna swirlene mine denne gangen.. lol!


I have totally fallen in love with the stamps from Sugar Nellie so I had to use this one who's called "Peeking Nellie".I've used bazzill cardstock and the DP is from K&Company and called "Wedding". I just got my brand new nestabilities so I had to try them out. They rock! Flowers are Press'n Petals from Prima, rondells and brads from Unik Hobby. Behind the flowers I've put some green string from Panduro. The photocorners are cut out with QK, the ribbons are from Making Memories and the two sentiments are from Norsk Stempelblad. Beside the image I've added a eyelet where I used two jumprings to put on two charms. The one is a "made with love" heart and the other one an envelope, both from Unik Hobby. On the inside I've used bits that were left from the front and added the tag. The flowers on the right side is a stamp from Norsk Stempelblad. A very clean and simple card this time, and I managed to stay clear of my swirls..lol!

The sentiment "Varme klemmer" means "Warm hugs"
The other one on the inside means "A hug is like a handshake from the heart"

Enda et bryllupskort.../ Another weddingcard...

Ikveld har jeg lagd et nytt kort på bestilling, denne gangen et bryllupskort. Jeg har brukt papir fra Papirdesign og Bazzill Canvas. Stempelet av brudeparet er fra Whipper Snapper Designs og teksten er fra Magnolia. Swirlene rundt kanten er Rhonna Farrer. De små hjertene er trykket ut med punch, blomstene er fra Prima og halvperlene med glitterlim er fra Panduro. Rondellene er fra Unik Hobby og brads er fra Papirplaneten. Bildet ble litt mørkt, men det er svart og grå kartong.

Tonight I've made yet another ordered weddingcard. I've used papers from Papirdesign and Bazzill Canvas. The stamped image is from Whipper Snapper Designs and the sentiment is from Magnolia. All the swirls are Rhonna Farrer. I've used a punch for the small hearts. Flowers are from Prima and the pearls and the glitterglue are from Panduro. The rodells are from Unik Hobby and the brads from Papirplaneten. The picture is a bit dark, but the cardstock i've used is black and grey.

Her kommer enda et bestillingskort, denne gangen et dåpskort til ei lita jente. Blei rosa det gitt.. hehe.

Bryllupskort/Weddingcard

I made this card for some friends of our who's getting married this weekend. I lifted the idea from the incredibly talented Camilla, just loved the idea with the little window! I was gonna an other image, but I ended up with this cute couple from Magnolia.
I've used:
-a LOT of the beautiful swirls from Rhonna Farrer
-pearls, flowers from Prima
-glitterglue from Panduro
-brads and rondells from Unik Hobby
-plastic window is made with a cd-cover bought from Biltema
-I've used paper from bazzill, Papirdesign and the red with the white dots is from Dream Street Papers.
-The sentimenst I've used are from Kort i hodet, Norsk Stempelblad and Magnolia.

Now I have to finish packing our suitcase for the 3-day long wedding. Have a good weekend!

Birthdaycard for a mature woman;)

My finacè's sister is turning 40, so I wanted to make her a proper card. Your life isn't over when you turn that age, and I think it's important to make a point out of that! The fresh lady is from Art Impression and is called "Dotty". I simply love her! She's coloured with distress ink. The paper is from Papirdesign, flowers from Prima, glitterglue from Panduro, brads, rondells and charms are from Unik Hobby. The number is cut out with QK Journal alphabet. On the inside of the card I've used a piece of the paper from the front, I've made a little envelope to the minitag with the sentiment from Stempelglede. The paperswirls are also cut out with the QK. All the other swirls are from Rhonna Farrer.

Pink birthdaycard

A friend of mine has a birthday coming up (not saying who;)) so I decided to make her a really girly card. It's all about pink! :)
I've used bazzill cardstock, DP from the series Noteworthy from Making memories, flowers from Prima, QK, embellishments from Unik Hobby. Yet another supercute stamp from Magnolia, swirls from Rhonna Farrer, and the sentiments are from Stempelglede.

Blog Candy!

Sophia has an amazing blog candy offered by Magnolia. There are two lovely Tilda's from their most recent release. There is also the picnic blanket for Tilda to sit on, a fence and a stitch for embellishment. Also included are some Flowers, rhinestones and some DP and a card base. Better check it out!

Weddingcard

I started on this card late last night so I had to finish it today. I struggeled for a while with it, my mind just didn't want to co-operate with me. I finished it at last, not being thrilled about it. Anyway, here it is.
I've used paper from chatter box, the stamp is Lilo and Milo from Rachel Ann Miller, the swirls are from Rhonna Farrer and the sentiment from Magnolia is stamped on vellum. The flowers I got from Unik Hobby, where all the embellishments are from as well. I've decorated the flowers with glitterglue, rondells and pearls. The sentiment on the inside is lifted from "Mammalies utvalgte tekster" (norwegian ones)

Hei alle sammen!
1 august åpner en ny norsk utfordringsblogg som heter Sukkersøtt !! Kjempeflott initiativ!!
Har enda ikke tatt steget sjøl og vært med på en slik blogg, men jeg tror jammen jeg skal hive meg ut i det når denne bloggen er oppe og går;)

Pure sweetness

I've been longing to make a card with this incredibly cute stamp from Magnolia for a long time, so today i just did it:) It just puts a smile on my face and makes me feel good inside:)
I've used bazzill, as always, don't remember what the patterned paper is. Swirls from Rhonna Farrer and the sentiment on the tag is from Stempelglede.

Weddingcard

This is the second weddingcard i'm making, and i decided to make this one a criss cross as well. I really enjoy making them, though i struggeled with the envelope for a while today.. I hope my friend will be happy with the result.
I've used a weddingpaper from K & Company. The weddingstamp is from Whipper Snapper Designs , the "Til brudeparet/to the bride and groom" is from Magnolia, the sentiment on the back is from Kort i Hodet, and the swirls are from Rhonna Farrer. The flowers are from Prima, decorated with rondells(?) from Unik Hobby, the heart is also from them. The ribbon is bought from Papir i hjertet and the pearls on the flowers are from Panduro Hobby. The little tags with date and year is cut out with QK.

Time is ticking away...

I've really wanted to make some new cards the last few days, but i've just been too tired. I'm gonna try and find the time some day soon, but in the meantime i've got a new order for 3 weddingcards and a couple of birthdaycards! Just love it! I'm gonna put them in here as soon as they're ready;)
I just have to say that i'm greatful for the comments i get here, and i would love for more of you to leave a trace behind. I find great inspiration in visiting your blogs and admiring your work:)
On friday i'm leaving for Denmark with my maid of honour, and hopefully i'll return home with my weddinggown!!! This is so exciting!!!

Bursdagkort til svigermor/ Birthdaycard for my mother-in-law

Yesterday I made this card for my mother-in law. She's a fresh lady so I used this funny stamp by Art Impression, bought from Bikuben.
The sentiments are from Norsk Stempelblad and Kort og Godt . The paper I've used is Bazzill Canvas and Audrey Pink Floral from Noteworthy. The rest is bought from Unik Hobby

On this card i've used the adorable stamp from Hänglar & Stänglar, the sentiment is from Ett Trykk, saying: "A hug is like a handshake from the heart". Maybe not the best translation... I've used flowers from Prima, droplets and the charms are from Unik Hobby. The leaves are QK.
