*Another Christmas card...*

Just a quick post this time. Made a simple Christmas card using the lovely paper from Scrappers Choice. Another one designed by the talented Vibeke Spigseth. It doesn't show so good in the pictures, but the paper has a glimmery shine to it. Used this lovely Tilda which just melts my heart, painted her with my distress inks. Used some of the new Mulberry flowers from Papirloftet, my WW punch, string and I don't know what you call the other strawthing in english..but they are both from Panduro. All of the brads and rondells are from Unik Hobby. Pearls are from Kort og Godt. The shapes on the inside is made by Spellbinders Nestabilities. All edges are distressed with Aged Mahogny. The text is on the paper and says "Merry Christmas"

I had to lay the inside down flat to get a decent photo. The upper part is the back of the front. The sentiment says "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year"

Thanks for stopping by, and for taking time to write me those lovely comments!

*My weddinginvitations*

Ok, so here are som pics of my weddinginvitations. I've been asked by many of you to show some pics, so even though I feel a bit insecure about showing them I'll do it to please the crowd;) Don't feel the light shows the colours like they are in real life, but anyway, here they are. I've used Bazzil Pear and White, and the DP is Melissa Frances called "Faith". I thought the name was appropriate:) The ribbon is Harvest sheer Mossy Green and the pearl is from Panduro. The stamp, which says "Invitation", is from Ladybugsandfriends and I've embossed it in silver. All the edges are scraped and distressed with Peeled Paint, and I've sewn on my machine around the patterned paper, and no one looks the same i can assure you lol. I didn't have much time to finish them, and I had to make 32, so they turned out like this...
***

A little closeup on the pearl

The inside: I've used vellum to print the text, and it has little crystals in it that twinkles. It doesen't show on the picture. The text is printed from my computer and glued to a white bazzill to make it clearer.

On the left side I chose to put a picture of us in black and white. I added some of the paper, scraped and distressed, and put on some cute flowers from Kort og Godt. I've also embossed the "We're getting married" text, which is a stamp from Papirgleder.

On the back I've used some more of the DP and sewn around it, distressed the edges and put on my personal stamp in silver.

So there it was..

*Friday Sketchers # 31

Here is my entry to this weeks challenge at Friday Sketchers. The challenge this time was a fabulous sketch by the oh so talented Claudia Rosa. I love the fact that I now can concentrate fully on making my Christmas cards and just play like I want in my craftroom. I really did enjoy making our weddinginvitations, but after making 32 it's good to use some new colours and papers;) I wanted to go really red this time and I'm totally in love with these wonderful papers! And who can resist this cute little Hanglargirl??
The sentiment on the front says "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year"

For the inside I used the back of the paper and I just love these wonderful swirls:) Made a little pocket on the left and put some bags with instant hot chocolate. Yum!

The sentiment means "Time for joy"

CS: Bazzill
DP: Vibeke Spigseth "Julefryd"
Stamps: Hänglar & Stänglar, Anka Design
Accessories: Pearls, lace and bradframe from Kort og Godt, Bells, ribbon and silverthread from a local store, nestabilities, Martha Stewart punch.
Painted with my distress reinkers and all edges are distressed with aged mahogny

Thank you so much for taking time to visit my blog and for leaving me those wonderful comments. You brighten my day!

StampARTic's 1st Challenge

Here is my entry to the grand opening at StampARTic. It was exciting to try out Camillas folding technique, and I tried not to look like a copy cat, eventhough I used the same papers as her. I've been wanting to use this image for quite some time now, she just looks so dreamy to me.
Here is the card folded open. I've used my nestabilities inside to and I've attatched some cute bells with a silverthread. The sentiment says "Juleglede" and means "Christmas Joy". I just had to add those sweet little snowflakes, which are half of a QK die. The pearls are from both Kaisercraft and Kort og Godt. The silverthread is from my stash.

I've covered all the sides, front and back with DP and this is the back. Here is where the closing thread is attatched and I've added my personal stamp
Thanks for watching!
And a heartfelt thanks to all of you who visit my
blog and brighten my day with your lovely comments!
